Posted November 20, 2020 15:00:30The world’s first high-end interior design class will take place at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC this week.
As part of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History, the course will showcase the work of interior designers and interior designers in general, with the goal of providing students with a thorough overview of design techniques.
The inaugural class will include an exhibition entitled The Architectural Art of Interior Design, which will feature the work by some of the most innovative and innovative designers and their projects, as well as the most influential designers who have influenced interior design to this day.
According to the Smithsonian, the exhibition will be the first major exhibition on the topic to take place outside of the United States.
In order to get the exhibition off the ground, the Smithsonian partnered with the design firm D’Addario and Design Group.
The firm’s website states that the exhibition’s main aim is to “explore the design and process of interior design from an aesthetic point of view.”
The exhibit will be open for public viewing until January 25.
With the exhibition already being previewed in the museum, we have no idea how many of us will be able to take part.
For those of us who don’t live in the Washington, D.C., area, however, the exhibit will have the Smithsonian as its home base, with a variety of other locations around the country set to host it as well.
